The ACC is undergoing a few changes and for the time being consists of the following:

The Board of Directors is meeting in July to select a new chairperson and interview volunteers. In the interim Penny Brown is acting secretary. A change has been made to the procedure for applications to repaint our houses. The ACC no longer accepts paint chips. Homeowners must paint an area of at least six square feet on the front of their houses showing the new paint, including base, trim and siding colors. This provides a better way to asses the true colors and with the availability of small samples of paint this should not be inconvenient.
The ACC meets on the first Thursday of each month and requests for residential improvements must be submitted by the twentieth of the preceding month. The ACC has thirty days to process requests. Between last year’s storm damage and the ordinary amount of requests, the ACC can be very busy, so please get your applications in as early as possible and be patient. Don’t schedule work to begin before the committee can get to your request.
Look over the Architectural Guidelines before you select a color that might be in conflict with the rules. Two important criteria are:
1. The ability to blend or be compatible with the adjacent homes and the community as a whole.
2. The degree of saturation; colors that are vibrant or intense are not acceptable.
